Shared Kitchen Marketplace — An online platform for renting commercial kitchen space, like Airbnb for kitchens. Cafes, churches, and community centres can list underused kitchen space so food entrepreneurs can find and book it, without taking on the admin burden of managing rentals themselves. See more Here →
Food Maps — A free, living map of kitchens, farms, and food assets across the country, kept current through open collaboration rather than a static directory that goes stale. Food Program Coordinator - Chebucto Connections
I run the food program at Chebucto Connections, covering everything from food baskets and home deliveries to a pantry, a market, and food education programming for the community.
Beyond the day-to-day, I coordinate with local food orgs and suppliers, including the Halifax Regional Food Hub and Mobile Food Market, to source food efficiently and support the local food economy along the way.
Spryfield Food Network — As part of my role, I also run the Spryfield Food Network, funded by the province's Collaborative Food Network program. I host monthly meetings with Spryfield-area food organizations, coordinate between them, and I'm building a dedicated website so the community can see what each group is doing in one place, instead of everyone working in silos.
