Food Education for Organizations

I've spent 10 years teaching cooking and food education across community settings, working with nonprofits, schools, and organizations of all kinds to make food feel accessible, practical, and empowering.

My background spans hands-on cooking instruction, food literacy, and sustainability education.

I work with:

  • Schools & educational institutions

  • Non-profits & community organizations

  • Wellness & lifestyle brands

  • Corporate teams & workplace programs

  • Festivals, conferences & events

Every program is tailored to your audience, space, and goals. Not sure which format is right for you? I'm happy to help you figure that out.

Program Formats

  • Cooking Demos

Demo-based sessions work well in classrooms, community spaces, libraries, and event settings. I bring portable cooking equipment (burners, tools, ingredients) and lead a live cooking demonstration paired with conversation, questions, and storytelling.

The audience gets to taste what's been prepared, making it an engaging and memorable experience for everyone in the room.

  • Hands-On Classes

Hands-on classes bring participants directly into the cooking process & everyone gets their hands dirty. These sessions are immersive and tactile, offering a deeper learning experience than a demo alone.

Because everyone is actively cooking, these sessions work best for smaller groups of up to 12. Kitchen access and basic equipment are required, and I'll work with you in advance to make sure the space and setup are right for a smooth experience.

  • Workshops

Facilitated, discussion-based sessions designed to get people thinking, talking, and engaging with food in a deeper way. Topics can range from food literacy and nutrition basics to food systems, sustainability, and policy.

These sessions are participatory by design. Rather than a lecture, expect group discussion, reflection, and shared learning. Workshops can stand alone or complement a cooking demo or hands-on class as part of a larger program.
